Infusion Therapy (IV Infusion) in Denver, CO

Ready to Consult a GI Physician?

Find a Provider

Infusion therapy happens when medications or fluids are administered directly into a person's vein. It is also called intravenous or IV infusion therapy. Intravenous, infusion, or injectable drug delivery methods are often utilized if oral/pill medications are unavailable, insufficient, or inappropriate.

Several of the newest medications are biologic (made or derived from living cells) and cannot be taken via the mouth, like a pill, as they are no longer effective after exposure to the GI tract. Biologic medications are prescribed to address IBD (inflammatory bowel diseases), such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, among other autoimmune conditions. If you or a loved one are seeking IV therapy in Denver, CO, request a consultation at your community's Denver Digestive Health Specialists location.

Dr Fishman was amazing. I was so scared to meet him and from time he walked out and got me from the waiting him self I was at eazy. I never had a doctor be so hands on. He answered all my questions. Dr Fishman listened to all my concerns. I think he has a sense of humor as well. His medical assistant is truly one of the best I ever had as well, n my 66 years. Very kind and affection. The other ladies with her in the office were kind as well. Heck I give them a call for a pick me up if I could this is how caring and real his assistant McKinsey, is. I sure hope I didn't get her name wrong. Thank you so much I just wish all medical staff could take a page out of this office book of how to treat a patient. Tina Thatcher
